Located at 311 S. Hamilton St., the new Hall of Fame building features multiple meeting spaces, the Hall of Fame Gallery, a Tribute Wall and Innovation Center, an immersive theater, the Trend Exhibit and continually changing Traveling Exhibits. Additional interactive exhibits are under development in Phase 2. Designed as a place for the industry and the community to gather, honor and learn, the facility includes a bar and full-service hospitality kitchen to provide comprehensive food service.

The American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation will celebrate those honored in the Pathways of Honor surrounding the Wanek Family and Ashley Furniture Industries Eternal Flame on Saturday 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at 311 S. Hamilton St. Music will be played by an international bag piper dressed in full military regalia.

The emerging trend of “escapism in the home” will be the topic of a Mimosa Brunch and Trend Seminar to be hosted by Markor International on Sunday, Oct. 27 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame, 311 S. Hamilton St. Along with the seminar, the Hall of Fame also will be unveiling a new Trend Exhibit during the October High Point Market that highlights a range of new furnishings exemplifying the escapism trend.

Elton, chief brand curator of Brown Jordan; Bob McCreary, founder of McCreary Modern; and Clarence H. Smith, chairman and CEO of Havertys Furniture.
