High Point Beyond April & October

Additional to-the-trade sourcing opportunities

Held every April and October, High Point Market is the premier event in home furnishings. More new products are launched at Market than at any other home furnishings show on earth. It is where the people of our industry connect from around the globe and build the business networks that build their careers. And, it is where industry thought leaders present their latest and best ideas.

High Point Market is the only event at which all of our exhibitors and the entire Market district are open for business. The only one that presents a robust schedule of educational and networking opportunities. And it is the only one to offer our full complement of transportation, wayfinding, and hospitality amenities.

In addition to the April and October High Point Markets, the market district is home to several small-scale opportunities for accessing trade resources throughout the year, such as showrooms and intimate events. There’s less fanfare and no services or amenities, such as registration and transportation. However, they can offer a great opportunity to connect with a few dozen exhibitors for product sourcing.

Premarket

Retailer focused, by invitation

Traditionally held about six weeks before each April and October Market, Premarket is designed to help case goods manufacturers and importers preview their new product introductions. Attending retailers then return to Market to continue sourcing. Typically, 18 -20 Premarket sponsors invite about 120 retailers to be their guests and visit their showrooms. As many as 80 -100 non-sponsoring exhibitors may open to serve invited retailers when they are not visiting the event’s sponsors. Please check with any exhibitor you may wish to visit, to ensure that they will be open to host you.

First Tuesday

A monthly by-appointment event for retailers

Featuring approximately 150 exhibitors, First Tuesday was designed to allow select retailers to see new products and to meet with suppliers in less-crowded showrooms. It was especially welcome during the COVID disruptions, and continues to afford opportunities for more relaxed interactions. Participating showrooms are typically open on the first Tuesday and Wednesday of each month, except in April and October and the Premarket months of March and September.

HPxD

A selection of design-oriented showrooms

Comprised of approximately 40 exhibitors, HPxD welcomes designers and retailers to visit their members’ showrooms, typically on the first Tuesday and Wednesday of each month. They also offer special programming throughout the year. Please see the HPxD website for a complete list of exhibitors and upcoming events.
