Ellen Robinson Studio

Ellen Robinson creates functional ceramics that bring a sculptural aesthetic into our everyday lives. She addresses ideas about the natural world, abstraction, loss, regeneration, the past, and beauty. Each piece is made with hand-building techniques where touch is recorded in the clay, embedding each mark and gesture with a memory. It is an inherently imperfect technique that touches on our human condition. All work is made in her studio in Brooklyn.
