For over thirty years Maitland-Smith has been known for the finest in luxury furniture, lighting and decorative accessories.

Our many artisan-crafted specialties include hand-carved woods, hand cut and inlaid exotic wood veneers and shells, and lost-wax cast metal mounts. Other areas of expertise include sophisticated finishing techniques, hand-tooling of leathers, reverse painted glass, and detailed hand painting.

We offer a wide selection of lighting from the whimsical to classic styles using a variety of materials including penshell, brass, and leather with hand-sewn silk shades. Our decorative accessories are often whimsical as well with an assortment of frogs, turtles, monkeys and bears that are sure to be noticed on a tabletop and desk. oUR licensed collections include those by Tony Duquette, Celerie Kemble, Susan Hable and from the archives of the Museums of New Mexico.

Join us as we celebrate the introduction of a beautiful new Neoclassic collection by Maitland-Smith, the iconic Tony Duquette Collection and unveil a very special book signing of Tony Duquette’s Dawnridge which is the name of the home and estate. Written by Hutton Wilkinson, this beautiful new book chronicles the luxe and historic home’s transformation. Hutton Wilkinson purchased the home following Duquette’s death in 1999, and he has since breathed new life into the estate, broadening the property, adding houses of his own design, and incorporating remarkable objects designed and created by the Duquettes. Wilkinson elaborates on the spectacular design elements in each room and shares the stories behind the spaces.
