Keeping You Safe

The latest on our efforts to conduct a safe and productive Market

What To Expect

See our What To Expect section for more details.

Our Commitment To You

We are prioritizing the health and well-being of our staff and attendees, implementing safety measures in line with the current CDC and NC health department guidelines, and adhering to all state executive orders.

Across the entire Market district, with your safety in mind, we are committed to:

Promoting Social Distancing

We have extended the Market schedule, and are implementing procedures to encourage social distancing during Market.

Enhanced Cleaning Protocols

Surfaces will be disinfected regularly each day using Crypton’s EPA Certified Disinfectant. Hand sanitation stations will be readily available throughout Market.

Limiting Capacity Within Space

All buildings and shuttles will follow State of NC guidelines and operate at 50% capacity. Showrooms appointments are strongly encouraged, and some exhibitors are requiring them.

Monitoring Staff Health

All Market staff will be monitored for COVID-19 symptoms, and we are encouraging all exhibitors to monitor their showroom staff.

Face Coverings Required

Pursuant to NC Executive Order 147, attendees will be required to wear face coverings while at Market. Exceptions will be made as outlined by the NC Department of Health and Human Services.

Attendee Requirements

As an attendee, you will need to:

Participate in Daily Health Checks

All attendees will need a health check via our designated areas each day they are at Market in order to access Market buildings or services. Those who pass the screening will receive a colored bracelet to wear for the day, indicating a successful check.

Adhere to North Carolina’s 3 W’s

Wear a cloth covering over your nose and mouth*

Wait 6 feet apart. Avoid close contact

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer

*Pursuant to NC Executive Order 147, attendees will be required to wear face coverings while at Market. Exceptions will be made as outlined by the NC Dept of Health and Human Services.

Respect the safety requirements of any space you enter

Adhere to limited capacity requirements

Cooperate with health screenings

Follow food and beverage restrictions

Comply with any other safety requirements or requests

In The Community

Keeping our community safe is equally essential to keeping our Market guests safe. In consideration of both groups, we recommend the following:

Adhere to the Attendee Requirements

The requirements listed above should be followed even beyond the Market district. Keep in mind, face coverings are a statewide mandate, not just a Market provision.

Shop Smart

When utilizing community businesses, consider giving your patronage only to those who have put the proper measures in place to prioritize safety. This will not only keep you and the store staff safer, it will also impact every Market guest and community member you come into contact with afterwards.

We appreciate your cooperation in working with us to create a safer Fall Market. Important new information will be added to this section as plans develop. We will also send notifications via email and social media.
