The designers were chosen based on their diverse looks, as well as their geographic diversity. As part of the challenge, each space will include a blend of best sellers and new additions to the Alden Parkes line.
“We love to shake things up, for our retailers and designers,” says Alden Parkes CEO, Lynne McArdle. “We wanted to showcase how our products and designs can work in many different rooms and styles, so we set each designer free to highlight their individual style."
Designers submitted floor plans, chose colors, worked with all sponsors, and presented their ideas on trend boards. Alden Parkes was their client and each designer worked directly with Lynne McArdle to be sure their vision worked with the company's needs.
The ‘Show House in a Showroom’ will kick off on Thursday, October 11 and will run through the end of High Point Market on Wednesday, October 17. The Alden Parkes showroom is open from 8am to 7pm each day.
A special kickoff social will be held on Saturday, October 13 from 3pm-5pm. The designers will be on hand to talk about their design concepts. Plus, at 2pm on Saturday, Jane Dagmi, Editor in Chief of Designers Today, will lead the group in a discussion of the pros and cons of having a niche design.
