Mill Collective is an exhibition of design and craft located inside Plant Seven, a new center for culture and innovation in Downtown High Point.

The curated multi-exhibitor show proudly presents objects created with conscious intent, by a group of more than 25 vendors—furniture and textile designers, specialized manufacturers and makers, artists and curators presenting artisan work—from around the corner and around the globe. Founded in Spring 2017 to foster new talent at High Point Market, Mill Collective has evolved within what is now a large-scale redevelopment project called Plant Seven.

Malene B., founder of the Black Artists + Designers Guild (BADG), curator Leyden Lewis, and designer Jomo Tariku sit down with Steven Mandel, publisher of ASPIRE DESIGN AND HOME, to discuss “Beyond the Mask: Storytelling in Black Art + Design,” the first BADG gallery exhibition in High Point, open at Plant Seven Apr. 6 - Sep. 30.

Demand for social destinations is on the rise, creating new interior design challenges, including the role of collaboration in achieving the client’s resimercial vision. Join interior designer Everick Brown and fellow collaborators — Abacus Architects and Matt Booty of Enkle Designs as they recap the makings of NŌ Studios, Milwaukee’s modern-day beaux arts clubhouse founded by Oscar-winner, John Ridley (“12 Years a Slave” and “American Crime”).
